Dr Aamir Matin has over 35 years of work experience in the IT industry both in Pakistan as well as abroad. He is currently Head of Technology for HBL, prior to which he was Country Manager for Cisco Systems Inc in Pakistan. Dr Matin has also worked at senior levels with the Government having been MD of the Pakistan Software Export Board as well as Advisor on IT to the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunications during 2002-2006. His early career was with the United Nations Development Program, working with countries in the Asia Pacific region on the use of Information Technology to enhance productivity in public sectors.

Dr Matin has a BS in Electronic Engineering, an MS in Computer Engineering, and a PhD in Information Technology and has taught graduate level courses at some of the leading Universities of the country.
Mr. Badiuddin Akber was previously serving as the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at CDC since June 2015 before being elevated to the position of Chief Executive Officer on January 01, 2019. He was also the nominated Chairman of the Oversight Committee formed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Joint Inspection Regulations, 2015.

Mr. Akber has more than 20 years of diversified senior management experience in the fields of finance and operations. He has served in various renowned conglomerates in Pakistan as Head of Finance and Company Secretary. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited.

Mr. Akber has demonstrated extensive expertise in the spheres of Financial Management, Clearing & Settlement, Risk Management, Operations, Product Development and Project Management in the Pakistan Capital Market. As Chief Operating Officer at NCCPL, he played an instrumental role in the implementation of various significant products, services and reform measures which include Revamping of Capital Gain Tax Regime, Unique Identification Number (UIN), Institutions’ Risk Management System, Straight Through Processing of Market Settlements and UIN Information System (UIS) and in the introduction of Leverage Products such as Margin Trading, Margin Financing and Securities Lending & Borrowing.

After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi, Mr. Akber attained various professional degrees in accounts and finance from prestigious national and international institutions. In addition to being a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (FCMA), he also holds ACMA-CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountants) qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA – UK) and qualification of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA – Ontario, Canada).

He has attended the Annual International Institute for Securities Market Growth and Development by the US Securities & Exchange Commission and various seminars and conferences in UK, India, Europe and Far-East countries on risk management, clearing & settlement and surveillance of capital market operations.
Aftab Ahmed Diwan started his career with Citibank in 1981. During his long tenure with the bank, he had varied exposure in different operational and business areas, which also included offshore assignments. Among the areas in which he served locally include Financial Control, Credit and Worldwide Securities Services. Apart from local assignments he also served Citibank Romania as Securities Business Manager looking after both business and operational activities and Citibank United Kingdom as Project Co-coordinator for Securities-related Cash Exception Project.
He then joined CDC in 1999 and is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at CDC and as a Director at ITMinds Limited. He has previously served as the Chief Operating Officer from 2004 to 2017 and Head of Operations from 1999 to 2004 at CDC. He has represented CDC at various international forums including the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and Asia-Pacific Central Securities Depositories Group (ACG). He has also served as the Chairman of the Consultative Group on Capital Markets, formed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan from May 2009 to September 2010.
Mr. Ahmed Chinoy is the Managing Partner of Arch Sons Group of Companies and is engaged in various businesses including security investments, textiles, real estate and poultry farming.

He is an elected Director on the Board of Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) and also a member of Audit Committee, Human Resources & Remuneration Committee and Listing & Voluntary De-Listing Committee of PSX. He is nominated by PSX as a Director on the Board of Directors of Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited and National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited.

He has served the society in a variety of capacities in the areas of business, education, and health and crime prevention. He has successfully served as the Chief of Citizen Police Liaison Committee, Sindh (a citizens’ body for prevention of crimes) from the year 2010 to 2015. He is also the Chairman of Pakistan Cloth Merchants’ Association (the apex body of textile exporters). He has also been actively serving on the Boards of various medical and educational institutions and as the President of All Pakistan Memon Federation. Previously, he has served on the Managing Committee of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). For his services to the people of Pakistan, he has been awarded the prestigious national awards of Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz.

Mr. Chinoy is qualified from Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) and holds a graduate degree in Commerce from University of Karachi. He is also a certified director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.
Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Bawany is serving as a Director on the Boards of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited, Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance, German Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Emerging Indus Partners Limited.

Mr. Bawany remained Chief Executive and Managing Director of Linde Pakistan Limited – a Member of Linde AG, Germany from August 2013 to January 2018 and thereafter served as Advisor to Chairman & Board of Directors till March 2018. He served Linde Pakistan Limited for more than 30 years in various leadership roles including CFO & Company Secretary and was responsible for successfully executing several local and regional initiatives and strategies.

Mr. Bawany is also Chairman Pakistan German Business Forum (PGBF), Trustee – Help International Welfare Trust (HIWT) and Member Supreme Council, Jetpur Memon Association. Mr. Bawany is also a Certified Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), and Chairman of the Board Audit Committee of PICG. In addition, he has also served as Chairman Board Audit Committee of NCCPL, Vice President of Bin Qasim Association of Trade & Industry (BQATI) and Vice-President Jetpur Memon Association (JMA) and Chairman, Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) of Memon Professional Forum.

He takes keen interest in the promotion of education, trade and industry and strongly advocates these causes through various professional, corporate and trade platforms and also supports various social and welfare activities. In this regard, he is associated with the Welfare Committees of Tabba Heart Institute (THI), Tabba Kidney Institute under Aziz Tabba Foundation (ATF). He is the former President of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) and Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) and member Education Board All Pakistan Memon Federation.

Mr. Bawany is a fellow member of ICMAP and ICSP. He is also a Law graduate and has done various advanced management courses from local and foreign institutions.


Mr. Chamdia has been associated with PSX since 1988. He was a corporate trading right holder by the title of Shehzad Chamdia Securities (Private) Limited where he acted as CEO and then as Chairman. With effect from October 2016, the said company surrendered its trading right entitlement certificate. Since 1992, he has served on the PSX board for a number of terms, participating and heading various committees of the Board and SECP, mainly focusing on corporatization, demutualization and integration of PSX. He has also served as a Director on the Boards of National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited and is also currently serving in Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, as the nominee Director of PSX.

At PSX, he is presently heading the Divestment Committee formed by SECP in 2016 which has successfully achieved the tasks of divesting 40% of PSX’s strategic shares, followed by offer for sale of 20% of PSX’s equity shares to general public. In addition, he is also the Chairman of New Product Development Committee and acting as member of Investment Committee and Audit Committee.

Mr. Chamdia is the Founder President of College of Accounting & Management Sciences (CAMS) as well as Director of the Avicenna School (Private) Limited. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Karachi.
Mr. Veqar Islam is currently the CEO and Director at Jaffer Business Systems. He is also a Director at Jaffer Brothers (Pvt) limited besides being President of Touchpoint (Pvt) limited. Previously, Mr. Veqar Islam served as the Senior Vice President and Member Global Executive Board of Comptel Corporation (now Nokia Corporation). He has also served as Vice President for Nokia Siemens Networks for Middle East – East and Gulf and Pakistan Sub region. Prior to this, he also held positions of Country Director for Nokia, Nokia Siemens Networks and Managing Director for NCR Corporation. He holds Masters Degree in Commerce from Karachi University. He has also served as the Board Member of NADRA from 2006 to 2009.
Mr. Zafar Iqbal Sobani brings with him over 40 years of experience of working in the manufacturing, power sector and audit profession in Pakistan and in the Middle East. Currently he is engaged in finance, business and power sector consultancy besides being a business entrepreneur. He is serving as a Board Member of Privatization Commission since January 2014 and has actively contributed in the Privatization transactions carried during this period which included spade work on PSE and Energy sector. In addition, he is on the Board of TRG (Pakistan) Limited, Primus Leasing Limited – subsidiary of Brunei Investment Company Limited, IT Minds – a subsidiary of Central Depository Company AGP Pakistan Limited and Hardon Solar – Developer of Solar solutions. He is also a Chairman of ICAP Audit Committee.

During his career, he worked for two years with House of Habib between 2015 and 2013 in the areas of New Project Development and Real Estate Management. He has rich exposure to the power sector industry in the country along with strong relationship with all the major stake holders. His experience includes leading the power sector of the Country as CEO of Hubco Pakistan with three IPP based power project between 2013 and 2011 and CEO of Liberty Power Tech 200 MW IPP based power project between 2011 and 2008. Majority of his career was spent with Century Paper & Board, a part of Lakson Group, between 2008 and 1990 in the areas of finance, arranging project funding for large sized projects treasury, costing and supply chain. In addition, he was responsible for the overall coordination of the Finance Department of the group. He also worked with Pakistan Oxygen Limited between 1990 and 1985 in their core finance functions. He has been the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and served actively in both the council and regional committee in various capacities. He also remained Chairman of Quality Control Board for nine years and was entrusted with the objective of overseeing the quality of audit assurance work in Pakistan. He also remained Member of the managing committees of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was the Sponsor Director of Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance in the years 2005 and 2004 and has Certification as a trainer of Corporate Governance by IFC.

He obtained his qualification of Chartered Accountancy and Cost & Management Accountancy in the early eighties from Pakistan. He has worked with A.F. Ferguson (PWC) in Pakistan and Ernst and Young in Saudi Arabia.
Junaid ShekhaMr. Junaid Shekha is the Chief Executive Officer of ITMinds Limited. He assumed the position of CEO on July 1, 2014. ITMinds is working towards the growth of BPO services and selling the concept of accounting outsourcing to different organizations, mainly in Pakistan.

As CEO, Junaid manages a diverse team of professionals and is committed to attracting the best talent to provide exemplary services to clients. Junaid joined the holding company, The Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC), in early 2006 and led various teams and initiatives in different areas of business such as Internal Audit, Operations and Product Development. His previous assignment at CDC was as the Chief Internal Auditor, the position which he held for two years. His other roles and responsibilities include CSR initiatives at CDC, and he has also acted as a Business Continuity Manager.

At a personal level Junaid volunteers both at the professional and community level. He was previously an elected member of Southern Regional Committee (SRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for the term 2013 – 2017. He also held the position of Chairman SRC for the term 2013-14.

Junaid began his career as a trainee chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Karachi and later remained associated with Ernst & Young, working in both its Karachi and London offices. He is certified by the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA and a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan. He is also a certified director from ICAP.
CFOMs. Fatima Khalid Khan is working as a freelance Executive Search Consultant while sourcing middle level and C-level for organizations. Fatima is a versatile, professional having diversified experience as an Entrepreneur and in the fields of Marketing / Human Resource, NGO, and Corporate Communication. Fatima is a Certified Director from PICG (Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance).

She is one of the pioneers of Internet Marketing in Pakistan and has had the privilege to act as Microsoft’s sole authorized representative in Pakistan back in early 2000s. Fatima handled and ran a self-owned business comprising of software developers, web and graphic designer etc. She launched the first medical portal www.pakdoctor.com and got a phenomenal response. She handled multinational clients like the Bristol Myers Squib Pakistan, Unilever Pakistan, Abbott Laboratories, etc. She also handled and co-coordinated with different advertising agencies like Interflow, Four Aces, Gravity and Mindshare. She managed the agency of MSN Hotmail on an exclusive contract for Pakistan where M/s. Mesh handled all the local netvertising on MSN Hotmail while coordinating with the regional offices of MSN in Hong Kong and England. Fatima also worked with the renowned NGO, Aahang which is working for women and children rights as an HR Manager.

Her dynamic career life shows that she has good analytical and interpersonal skills and is diverse and flexible in all fields. Fatima did her schooling from Convent of Jesus and Mary. She is a Business Graduate with majors in Marketing. She has delivered talks at Business Schools on Marketing, HR and Corporate Communication.
CFOMr. Iqleem -uz-Zaman Khan is serving as the Chief Executive Officer of ITMinds Limited. Before being elevated to this position, he was serving as Assistant General Manager in the Trustee Business of Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC). He joined CDC at the time of inception of its Trustee Business in 2001. He also served as Head of Operations at Alfalah Investments for a year in between and rejoined CDC in 2006 to lead the Compliance Section and Operations within the continuously growing Trustee Business.
During his tenure of service in CDC, he was also assigned additional roles like CFO & Company Secretary of CDC Share Registrar Services Limited and has worked as Project Manager on various projects including Real Time Gross Settlement System of SBP, REIT’s, Bond Automated Teller System, etc.
Mr. Iqleem-uz-Zaman has attained more than 20 years of diversified experience, both locally and internationally, in various sectors including a rich experience in mutual fund industry.He is fellow member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants and Professional Accounting Affiliate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan as well as a Commerce Graduate. He completed his article ship from Price Waterhouse Coopers and finalized variety of audits.
He attended various seminars and conferences including training arranged by US Securities & Exchange Commission and Depository & Trust Clearing Company of USA and Terrapin Ltd. of Singapore on topics like Best Practices, Global relationing and Exchange Traded Funds.
CFOMr. Waqas Ashraf was previously serving as Chief Accountant of the Company since July 2014 before being elevated to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary in December 2018. He joined ITMinds Limited in the year 2013 and assumed responsibility of Accounts Manager. He was a key member of the team who launched Business Process Outsourcing Services and played an important role in the implementation of Back Office Accounting Software.

Mr. Ashraf is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He also holds a Master Degree in Economics from University of Karachi. He completed his chartered accountancy mandatory training with Grant Thornton Anjum Rahman Chartered Accountants (A member firm of Grant Thornton International) and later worked in a supervisory position. During his stay in the firm, he was engaged in the audit and assurance assignments of various public and private sector enterprises which helped him to develop an in-depth exposure and understanding of the service sector.
